BE OFFLINE AND CHILL

BE OFFLINE AND CHILL

There are various factors that make us feel stress, anxiety, and tiredness.

For those reasons, some things are out of our control. That means no matter how much we think, we cannot change those reasons. So thinking about it continuously makes us more tired.

There are other reasons that we can control.

The phone you are reading this post in your hand is also a major cause of stress for us. But because we are mostly addicted to it, we cannot understand it. Other people’s gossip, negativity, criticism, and posts that are constantly eye-catching about the current state of the country break the peace in our hearts. Also, by hanging on likes and comments, you can become an attention seeker. The seriousness of this is that you are tempted to cover up your true form and pretend images for society’s attention.

So how do you spend a Sunday on the weekend without a phone?

What are the things you can do on a Sunday away from screening time?

How do you get ready for a new week after a week?

If you want to make such an attempt, let’s do some things like this.

  • If you have a separate office phone, turn off that phone if possible.
  • For the next person calls, if it is not very necessary and urgent, put the phone down saying “I will take it later”.
  • Clean the house and room a little. Put a new set of bed sheets. This is great magic. Scented new bed sheets are something that will make you unexpectedly relaxed.
  • Always buy two sets of bed sheets and curtains according to a theme if you can with the money you spend on clothes, sandals and bags. Take turns changing the theme of the room.
  • Spray some air freshener in the room. Light a scented candle and incense if you have one. (But be careful if there are people who are allergic to fragrances.)
  • Next, go down from the house to the garden. No matter how small the space is, there are some flowers and some leaves at home. Collect some here and there. Take Mom’s transparent glass and add some water to make a small flower vase. (Don’t put the glass on the floor. I’ll have to scold you too.)
  • Take a good shower. Be clean. Put some nail polish on your hands and feet for a new week. If the laundry basket is full, empty it.

Do you have any other hobby that doesn’t include screening time?

  • Doodle arts
  • Painting
  • Creative writing
  • Reading
  • Journaling
  • Scrapbooks
  • Baking
  • Sewing
  • Hiking

Anything like this: If there is something like that, set aside some time for it.

  • Make a glass of good-tasting tea, or coffee, drink and do something like that while enjoying it.
  • If you have a pet at home, talk to it or gossip around with the people at home.
  • Meanwhile, play some soft music in the beautifully decorated room. Maybe it can be the favourite playlist. Not so loud that even the people next door could not hear on Sunday. Hear only you.
  • Take a little energy nap. Stay in bed and do nothing. Don’t think about the past or tomorrow, think only about this time. You will feel relaxed.

So it looks like that now, doesn’t it? Do as many things as you can away from the phone, and not the big things that cost a lot of money.

Many of the things that have been talked about are difficult to do in practice for our boys and girls who sit in the oil and gas queues. But these help someone who is addicted to the phone and has stress due to online use and wants to stop it.

If you really feel like taking a break from the life that runs like a race sometimes, “BE OFFLINE”.
